Summary Foundation
A complex saga of humans scattered on planets throughout the galaxy all living under the rule of the Galactic Empire.
Synopsis Foundation
One of the great Science Fiction writers of all time, Issac Asimov, wrote a series of books over a 40 year period known as the Foundation Series. The series is better known for it's first three novels referred to as the Foundation Trilogy. These novels are put together from the many stories Asimov had published in a pulp fiction magazine called Astounding. After being combined into novels they tell the story about a mathematician named Hari Seldon, who uses a new science called psychohistory to predict the end of the Galactic Empire. The time between this Galactic Empire and the next is predicted to last 30 thousand years. To help limit the time between the two empires to 1,000 years, Seldon creates two groups, First Foundation and Second Foundation. He places these 2 groups on different planets with different destiny's. The First Foundation is placed on a new world and has to colonize it from an agrarian planet to an industrial one. Through their physical struggles and wars they will evolve to become strong physically and in spirit to overcome the many barriers they will face. The Second Foundation is secretly hidden on the capital planet in the Galaxy, Trantor. They are there to create a great encyclopedia of the galaxy, but Seldon has greater plans for them. The Second Foundation will evolve over time to become an extremely powerful intellectual group of beings. They will use mind control to overcome the many barriers that they will face. Foundation is the story of how these two groups will find out about each other and strive to come together to save the Galaxy.Foundation Download Links
